Mungret Agricultural School, Limerick - A file of original documentation relating to the operation of this school in the 1870-18880 period. In 1858 the Commissioners of Education opened an agricultural college at Mungret which received support from the De Vere, Barry, O’Brien and other landed families of the area. The school closed in 1878 and later became a Jesuit College. Much mention of landed families, De Vere, Barry etc.
